Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place to visit for a day of exploring or a weekend camping trip. The historic buildings and gardens of the community provide a range of things to learn from. The nature trails give you the opportunity to see nature up close. There can be manatee along the river trail.

First time here and we love it. Will be back. The water spout at the site is definitely key to how much we liked it.

Excellent sites with greenery in between for privacy. Clean bathrooms and showers. Easy walking paths. Pet tolerant. The park is along the Estero River. Great for canoeing and kayaking. This is an historical site. The former site of the Koreshan Unity Settlement. The Koreshan's were a religious group based on ideals of communal living and property. Everyone working for the good of all. Their buildings are still standing. Unfortunately, because of the Covid crisis, the buildings are closed. We perked through windows to see what their lifestyle was like. Fascinating.
