Excellent sites with greenery in between for privacy. Clean bathrooms and showers. Easy walking paths. Pet tolerant. The park is along the Estero River. Great for canoeing and kayaking.
This is an historical site. The former site of the Koreshan Unity Settlement. The Koreshan's were a religious group based on ideals of communal living and property. Everyone working for the good of all. Their buildings are still standing. Unfortunately, because of the Covid crisis, the buildings are closed. We perked through windows to see what their lifestyle was like. Fascinating.
