This area is cool for those who are into history and/or various occult research. Most areas of SW FL, and South FL in general, do not have the Old South feel to them like this park maintains. You can kayak around it as well.read more

Absolutely gorgeous spot. Lots of history and nature. We went on a Sunday and there was a flea market going on. It was a nice peaceful time. My Bf is a generator manager so it was cool to see that this place holds one of the first generators ever invented! It was a nice time for my little family to learn the history and see how people lived in those times. We may be back to fish, camp, or go kayaking! Awesome spot.read more

Awesome place to wander around, gorgeous place for photos. Only disappointment is a lot of the buildings are only open a few hours a week on a specific day. Get in free with Florida State Parks Pass!read more

Great RV camping. Deep lots, some offer more shade then others but all surrounded by plenty of growth for privacy. 4G cell signal great.read more

This is a very unique park with its own little Old Village the Koreshan had. We love it we've got seven more nights here and we walked just about every trails very nice clean Park and don't forget about Sunday's Market lots of events at this park I highly suggest itread more

I really liked it here. It was so quiet and peaceful. My family enjoys walking and hiking the trails. There were pavillions so you could picnic and a playground for the kids. They offer camping sites as well.read more

Beautiful park! Well kept and lots of history. Very interesting. Pricing for kayaking was reasonable! The kayaking river was really shaded too, which helped keep us cool.read more

The state park is quiet relaxing and serene environment. Staff are knowledgeable about surrounding and historical events of the time period. There are many area's to the park . Walking trails, camping events throughout the year and more.read more

A real cozy sort of park. An okay amount of trails for a quick walk or run, lots of canopy coverage, and is pleasant even in the summer heat. The historical village if neat to go look at and check out the old-timey sort of architecture and mechanical bits. Even there demo blacksmith was having a good time. Overall a nice and small, but cute park for a quick visit or to spend a night camping.read more

Wonderful visit. Got a great tour from Kathy with the Friends of Koreshan society. It wasn't much activity in the park today but it was nice to have a great look around. This really is an eclectic piece of Floridian history, I'm glad they stepped in to preserve it.read more

A reasonable campground. The Park is open from 8am until sunset, with an access code gate for registered campers to enter after hours. The campsites were fairly spacious and surprisingly private, having some dense foliage between them. Getting your camper into your site can be tricky, as there is not much maneuvering room on the roadway. The bathhouse was quite good, with several shower stalls and a pair of family/accessable restroom/showers. The Park contains the buildings left from the Koreshan Unity community. They have either self- or guided tours of the structures. On Sundays the park hosts a farmer's market and native plant sale. It is on the small side but we picked up some nice vegetables there. There are several arts & crafts and food vendors mixed in as well. Canoe and kayak rentals are available. The boat launch is fairly good (there is a fee for launching trailered boats).read more

Great campground. We tent camped at Korean state park for seven nights. The weather was enjoyable and in our tent site we managed a semi private camping experience. The hiking trail is not very long, but it is very interesting as it changes as you walk through. There is a bamboo forest on the hike and it goes along the river. I enjoyed walking to the historic site from the campground near sunset. We rented kayaks one day and that was fun and easy. Bathrooms pretty good, kind of had an old fashioned feel similar to the historical site. Friendly staff and nearby gas and grocery store too. Only about 20 min from ocean too!read more

Beautiful state park with nature trails, historical buildings, camping sides and kayak rentals. The park has also restrooms and a playground for the kids. My family and I enjoyed the park very much, especially the nature trails. The scenery was exotic and much different from what I have seen. The history of the place is explained on the posters which hang around the park. The posters have have pictures as well as a brief historical description of the place and the family which owned it. The buildings have glass doors and windows and you can peek inside and view the original furnishings. I gave the park four stars only because it not accessible with a stroller. We had two small kids with us and we had to carry them through the nature trails. We could not ride the strollers through the sand.read more
