Photographer Regulations

Our mission is to provide resource-based recreation while preserving, interpreting and restoring natural and cultural resources.

To help us achieve this mission, we ask the photographer and their clients to adhere to the following guidelines when utilizing the Park.

  • The park is open from 8 am to sunset. Photographers and clients must adhere to park hours.
  • Balloons, glitter, confetti & candles / open flames are strictly prohibited.
  • Photographers are responsible for the conduct of their clients.
  • Changing of clothes is only allowed in the restrooms. Do not leave items inside the restrooms; restrooms must be available to all visitors.
  • Photo setup cannot block walkways, steps, porches or entrances of any of the historic structures. Props cannot interfere with the aesthetic or historic visitor experience.
  • Photographers may not move any Park property from its designated location.
    Including, but not limited to, carpets, mats, chairs and decorative items.
  • Restricted areas may include cultural & natural resources such as historic structures & trees.
  • Park rules are listed in the Florida Administrative Code 62D-2. All structures, plants and animals within the park are protected under these rules and regulations.
  • Vehicles are not allowed within the historic area and must be parked in designated parking areas.


Park Management has the right to remove anyone from the state property for noncompliance.
